Privacy Policy

CristianoR, an individual developer based in the Republic of Korea, provides PULSE SHIFT. This policy explains the information processed by the game and your choices.

Information we process

You may play as a guest or optionally link an Apple or Google account. Depending on the features you use, we process a platform account identifier, optional profile information supplied by the platform, a user-selected public Ranking Nickname and its normalized uniqueness/reservation record, a separately generated Friend ID, nickname reports and local blocks, Friend relationships and requests, heart send/claim status, approximate city and country, gameplay scores and progress, Gold and Life balances, purchase transaction status, ad reward verification, consent choices, device/app version, crash data, and performance diagnostics. The Friend ID is shown only in the linked player’s Friends & Hearts screen and is not published in ranking results.

For eligible verified ranking scores, our server may derive an approximate city and country from the connection IP address. We use this coarse result for city, country, and global ranking groups and do not store the raw IP address in the player profile or ranking entry. If lookup is unavailable, we fall back to a country or “unknown city” group. This is not GPS or precise-location tracking.

We do not request contacts, precise location, photos, videos, microphone recordings, health data, full payment-card numbers, or unrestricted chat content.

Why we process it

We use information to provide and synchronize the game, operate verified all-time city/country/global rankings, recover linked progress after reinstall or device changes, operate the Friend and heart system, protect accounts and the in-game economy, verify purchases and rewarded ads, prevent fraud, diagnose failures, improve performance, comply with law, and answer support requests.

Service providers

Planned production services include Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Functions, Cloud Firestore and App Check; Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform; ipwho.is for coarse connection-location lookup; Apple App Store; and Google Play. Apple and Google process payments. We receive transaction status and product information, not your complete card details.

Advertising and consent

On iPhone and iPad, we request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before initializing advertising or requesting ads. With your ATT permission and any required regional consent, Google Mobile Ads may use the advertising identifier, approximate location, ad interactions and related usage data with third-party data to personalize ads and measure advertising. We do not use account email addresses or your Friend ID for advertising targeting.

If you decline ATT, we request non-personalized ads, disable the publisher first-party advertising identifier, and do not use an alternative identifier to bypass your choice. If ATT has not been resolved, advertising remains deferred. Google’s regional consent form is a separate choice and does not override an ATT refusal. Gameplay, account linking and purchases do not require tracking permission, and no reward is offered for giving permission.

Advertising and attribution operate only as allowed by platform settings and regional consent choices. Scheduled interstitial ads are evaluated after a run result is displayed, not when Play is pressed. You can reopen ad privacy choices in Settings & Privacy → Privacy & Data and use device privacy settings. We do not sell personal information for money.

Retention and deletion

Account and gameplay records remain while your account is active. An account deletion request enters a seven-day cancellation period and is then processed. Backup removal may take additional time. Security, refund, transaction, tax, or dispute records are retained only when and for as long as applicable law requires, then deleted or de-identified.

Your choices and rights

You can use Reduce Motion and frame-rate controls, choose and rate-limit changes to your public Ranking Nickname, report and hide an inappropriate nickname, remove or block Friends, reopen ad privacy choices, request a data export, and request or cancel account deletion from Settings & Privacy → Privacy & Data. The first custom nickname is free; afterward one rename credit is added each UTC month up to 3. Previous nicknames remain reserved to the same account to prevent impersonation and preserve old referral links. You may also request access, correction, export, objection, restriction, or deletion where local law provides those rights. Rankings use a persistent all-time best score and do not reset weekly or seasonally. Full account deletion removes the associated ranking entry and nickname reservations after the cancellation period.

Guest-only local data, including a guest best score, may be removed when the app is deleted. Linking Apple or Google keeps verified progress under the linked Firebase account so the same provider can recover it after reinstall. Install/referral URLs do not access contacts or create Friends. Friendship is created only when a player deliberately shares the immutable separate Friend ID, another linked player enters it, and the request is accepted. A public Ranking Nickname cannot be used to send a Friend request.

Children

PULSE SHIFT is a general-audience game and is not designed to collect personal information from children below their country’s digital-consent age. Contact us if you believe a child supplied information contrary to this policy.

International processing and security

Service providers may process information outside your country using applicable safeguards. We use encrypted transport, access controls, server-authoritative validation, and monitoring appropriate to the information processed.

Website language preference

Our marketing pages use your browser’s preferred language to choose Korean or English on a first visit. If you select a language, we save only that choice in this browser’s local storage. You can change it with the language links or clear site storage. This language selection does not request GPS, perform an IP-location lookup, or send your preference to a separate analytics service.

마케팅 페이지는 첫 방문 시 브라우저 언어를 참고합니다. 한국어·English 링크를 선택하면 해당 선택만 브라우저에 저장하며, 언어 링크를 다시 선택하거나 사이트 저장소를 지워 변경할 수 있습니다. 언어 선택을 위해 GPS나 IP 기반 위치 조회를 사용하거나 별도 분석 서비스에 언어 정보를 전송하지 않습니다.
